When Rigby initially approached us, they had no branding beyond the wordmark. We collaborated with the founder to establish an identity that truly encapsulated what Rigby means. In simple terms, the brand's ethos revolves around evoking a sense of “home”. This is reflected in every aspect, from the production at small, family-owned factories in Portugal to the celebration of perfectly imperfect final products. Human touch and family connections are at the core of the brand's identity.
We crafted an identity that is both clean and contemporary, while also incorporating hand-drawn brand illustrations as a nod to the artisanal nature of their tableware. The end result is an inviting brand that has us jonesing for our next dinner party.
